We are looking for Supply Technician(s) to provide operations support pertaining to medical supply items to include receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, pick-up and delivery of general or specialized bulk materials and equipment.

Duties:
Process customer orders, stock, and re-supply medical logistics items (includes removing all outdated or expired items from shelves). Provide forward logistics support to warehouse personnel as needed. Assist with the delivery of supplies, equipment, or furniture to customer accounts within the medical treatment facility, to include outlying buildings attached to the organization. Coordinate scheduling and transportation requests for the turn-in of unserviceable medical equipment, supplies, and furniture. Handle the proper turn-in, documentation and scheduling equipment/supplies to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) and base transportation. Document the care taking of medical group vehicle assets on a daily basis. This will include the proper maintenance scheduling, fuel requirements, daily/monthly vehicle inspections, and general inside/outside vehicle cleanliness to include washing and vacuum. Ability to use automated processing equipment and systems such as optical readers and scanners. Ability to read, interpret and apply reference material such as Air Force regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, etc. to accomplish and resolve problems.

Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months experience in a medical supply or medical logistics warehouse setting. HS Diploma or GED and the ability to learn new tasks. Must have knowledge of and comply with governing supply regulations, procedures and instructions such as AFI 41-209 and AFI 41-210, Chapter 2; knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, medical material handling techniques; and knowledge of medical supply functions and operations. Must be able to lift and carry weight over 45 pounds, but not more than 100 pounds. Work conditions include walking, standing, reaching, bending and moving items (light to moderate physical effort). Able to operate standard office equipment, such as computers, typewriters, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems, to perform a substantial range of office support.

Must be able to read and speak the English language fluently, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to prepare and edit written correspondence, reports, and transcribed material.

Travel to ABC licensee location (covering the entire Southern California Area) - we also book classes statewide and can discuss your availability to travel..
Provide RBS training classes to ABC licensees and their employees. (Classes typically run 3 1/2 to 4 hours in length)
Training materials, PPT presentation, testing materials and course outline provided.

Require the following: Laptop computer, projector screen, projector, speakers

This is a permanent and ongoing part-time opportunity. We typically book 1-4 training classes per month (some months are busier than others). Trainers are encouraged to book classes on their own as well.
