Food Production company in Corona has 3 vacancies for manufacturing sauces, dips, salads, salsas, etc.

The 1st position is in production. 1st shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This person will formulate recipes

Second and third position is in the Sanitation Department. 1st shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2nd shift: 3:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. two individuals to wash and sanitize equipment in between and during production runs. Hours are for first and second shift, however, they need to be flexible with their days and hours, as we sometimes start at 3:00 a.m. and work on Saturdays with an occasional Sunday for inventory.

Candidates must have: The ability to speak, read and write English is a must as the individual will need to read recipes, formulas, safety notices, and follow instructions. They must pass E-Verify. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience: The candidates should have some experience in the food industry with GMP knowledge, food safety knowledge, and willing to work in a wet and cold environment. They need to be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.

The Director of QA will lead all of our manufacturing units in ensuring machines are under control, manpower is trained and efficient methods are being utilized. With a significant responsibility for team management, the Director of Quality Assurance will supervise and develop team members to ensure consistent implementation of Quality Assurance procedures.



As the Director of Quality Assurance, your ability to take ownership of manufacturing deficiencies and come up with practical solutions that keep the manufacturing team efficient and active will allow our company to maintain our focus on producing high quality products.



Our QA department is required to act holistically and systemically – not simply identify the challenges and quality breakdowns. Responsibilities

· Supervise, develop & manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure consistent execution of QA policies

· Direct the Quality Assurance function, ensuring the effective maintenance, update and continuous improvement of quality systems

· Establish, plan, budget and execute on Quality Assurance strategy across all aspects of QA

· Evaluate and enhance Quality standards, technologies and approaches

· Direct and approve planning and implementation of internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the quality system across the manufacturing plant

· Establish a consistent method for keeping product defects at a minimum and continuously set higher standards for quality



Requirements

· BS in Engineering required. A background in Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred.

· 10+ years sophisticated quality assurance, development and implementation experience, plus 4 years of leadership/ team management experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding and experience with Manufacturing Environments that do work for the Department of Defense.

· Experience with MIL-PRF 38534 and AS-9100

· Experience with Hybrid Manufacturing and/or Micro Electronics is a plus

Studies blue prints, work orders, or machining instructions to determine product dimensions, tooling, and to plan operational sequence. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. Sets up and operates horizontal manual hones, horizontal automatic strokers, vertical strokers. Sets and adjusts speed, feeds and depth of cut to machine parts to specifications set forth in blueprints and drawings. Verifies starting materials are adequate prior to beginning to work. Responsible for quality of the finished product or services outlined above. Make recommendations, as needed, to other machinists as to possible solutions to machining problems. Will conduct first article inspections on all parts and operations being performed in the machine shop. Will conduct in-process inspections to verify that all quality standards are being maintained. Will be required to deburr, polish, assemble, and perform other various machine operations. Will work from drawings and use hand grinders and common hand tools to grind and polish a variety of parts to meet contour, size, and finish requirements.
