Job Description
Primary role of this position is to represent Majestic Home Loan in a professional manner and originate residential mortgage loans, both purchase and refinance. Within this role you will be responsible for obtaining loan applications by developing and maintaining existing client relationships as well as targeting potential clients through professional representation of Majestic Home Loan services. Additionally, Loan Officers must be able to work assist and coordinate with the processing and closing of loan generated.


Responsibilities
Promote loan programs through Majestic Home Loan
Interview and pre-qualify prospective borrowers
Review financial statements, credit reports and other qualifying documentation
Inform borrowers of loan program options and market conditions
Review loan requirements including necessary documentation
Assist support staff in processing and closing loans
Maintain high level of knowledge of all Majestic Home Loan programs
Develop business relationships with Realtors, builder and other business sources


Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years of loan origination experience
Previous sales experience
Ability to self-generate business leads
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Detail oriented with strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
Computer literate and knowledge of origination software
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
Must possess excellent decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
