You’ll plan and set-up machining projects on a variety of machines, including wire EDM equipment, read and follow Engineering and R&D blueprints and work instructions, write, modify, input and override required program instructions for CNC processes and inspect parts using precision measuring devices.
We’ll rely on you to be capable of producing precision components using CNC and manual machine shop equipment, including CNC and conventional mills.
Requirements:
- Technical school certificate or equivalent
- Mastercam school certificate or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in working with metal
- Tool and DIE experience
- Ability to communicate and cooperate with fellow employees and management to maintain quality requirements, operational goals and efficiencies and health/safety requirements
- CAM software and programming experience
